• Client area: login credentials, contractual documents, payment schedule, message history.
• Cookies: anonymized audience measurement, language preferences, authentication session.

• Handling of commercial requests (legitimate interest & consent).
• Execution of the sales contract and case follow-up (contract performance).
• Audience measurement and service improvement (consent).
• Compliance with legal and accounting obligations.

4. Retention periods

• Unconverted leads: 3 years from the last contact.
• Client files: duration of the contract + 10 years for accounting and legal purposes.
• Client area session data: 12 months.

5. Recipients and sub-processors

Data may be transmitted to our sub-processors strictly for their mission: hosting, email provider (Resend), payment platform (Stripe), SMS verification service (Twilio), anonymized audience analytics tool. No data is sold or shared with third parties for commercial purposes.

6. Your rights

You have rights of access, rectification, erasure, opposition and portability over your personal data. To exercise them, contact us at contact@kongohabitat.com. You will receive a reply within a maximum of 30 days.

7. Security

The website is fully served in HTTPS/TLS. Client area passwords are hashed (bcrypt). Access to sensitive areas is logged. Data is hosted on infrastructures compliant with international security standards.

9. Legal framework

Processing carried out in accordance with Law No. 20/017 of 25 November 2020 relating to telecommunications and information and communication technologies in the Democratic Republic of the Congo, and with international personal data protection standards (GDPR).
